A Bridge to Somewhere…

You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one.  I hope some day, you’ll join us and the world will be as one.  – John Lennon

It’s said that we see conflict in the world because we have conflict within ourselves.  In fact, many wisdom teachers compare the mind to a battlefield.

The human brain is divided in half.

The right side of our brain is artistic, poetic, and intuitive.  It’s inspired spontaneously by what’s happening right now.

The left side of the brain is mathematical, scientific, and practical.  It’s takes historical data and uses it to plan for the future.

We obviously need both sides, but most of us mainly use one side.  One side of our brain is constantly trying to overpower the other.

The only way to end a power struggle is to bring the two opposing sides together so they can find common ground again.

The two sides dream about the very same thing:  peace.  They’re just coming at it with different approaches.

It’s like a couple getting into an argument on vacation because one likes to plan every last detail and one wants to go with the flow.  At the end of the day, they both just want to enjoy the trip.

With awareness of the common goal, we build a bridge within the mind so the two sides connect and find balance.

We consciously bring more art into our business or more business into our art.  We dig into data, but try to make it more of a dance.

When both sides are heard and receiving attention, there’s no need to overpower.  The inner conflict begins to dissolve, and we feel whole again instead of divided.

Join you and join us,

Jen
